* Breath control. Scientific studies have shown that controlling your breath can help to manage stress and stress-related conditions. Breath control is also used in practices such as yoga, tai chi and some forms of meditation. Many people use their breathing to help promote relaxation and reduce stress. How do you develop breath control?

Inhale through your mouth slowly and try to consciously force your belly to expand while you inhale. Exhale through your nose slowly and force your belly to contract again. Observe as your belly hand moves up with each inhalation and down with every exhalation.

Concentration: the action or power of focusing one's attention or mental effort. Concentration is the ability to think carefully about something you are doing and nothing else. It means controlling your attention. It is the ability to focus the mind on one subject, object or thought and at the same time exclude any other unrelated thoughts, ideas, feelings and sensations.

Meditation: Meditation will change your life and mind.

  • Meditation will also put you in a wiser relationship with life and with your purpose in life. Meditation give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health. You can also use it to relax and cope with stress by refocusing your attention on something calming. Meditation help you learn to stay centered and keep inner peace.

Calm, bliss or union with the divinity (Holy Trinity): We meditate to give God our full attention. To build strong discipline & willpower, you must master your mind. The Bible encourages followers of God to keep their thoughts fixed on whatever is true, honorable, right, and pure (Philippians 4:8). We are called to take every thought captive and teach them to obey God. Practicing Christian meditation may help you train yourself to maintain a righteous mindset.
