One of the best Christian marriage quotes that captures marriage is by Mignon McLaughlin when he stated, “A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.” Marriage isn’t about the big dreams, the house, the cars, the three children, the white picket fence all neatly packaged with admirable careers to support it all.
In God’s Kingdom, a strong and successful marriage is falling in love with the same person as we give that person our all unconditionally. Marriage requires faith in our mighty God and faith in our spouse. It requires waking up every morning and being willing to give 100 percent of our attention, love, and effort. Recommitting Especially when it’s hard. Because when we do, God takes our union to His potter’s wheel to mold, bend, shape, and refine us into His Holy image. And what a beautiful reflection we become!
