“Speak the truth in love, while growing… More like Christ.”

Curated By: Lady Kenyatta Ruth

Telling It Like It Is

Not Like We Think

It Should Be

Eph 4:15

John Walker says: “It’s hard to…confront…It’s easier to stay superficial… to demonize one another when we don't agree, and to cut and run at the first sign of trouble… But the Bible says, ‘An honest answer is like a kiss of friendship' (Pr 24.26 NLT) It deepens meaningful relationships...and keeps our fellowship open and authentic, freeing us to speak the truth in Love’… No more lies or pretense. Tell your brother, sister, love one, partner, children or spouse the truth. Remember, in Christ's body we’re all connected...When you lie to others, you end up lying to yourself." Eph 4:25 MSG).

Author Annette Smith observes: "Touchy topics are difficult for even close family and friends. Yet relationships involve flawed people who make mistakes and get into messes. Family and Friends need to be able to count on each other, not just for fun and affirmation, but for instruction and correction.

Committing ourselves to a courtships and friendship means because we care on a deep intimate level, we have the courage to speak up when a relative or friend needs to hear tough words... True courtships and friendship comes with joy and responsibility.. To avoid talking truthfully about a situation thats hurtful, dangerous, or out of God's will, is to dishonor the courtship or friendship and the family or friend.

When we've been trusted with the blessing’s of families and friends, we must love them enough to be willing to experience hurt, rejection, even anger in the end, truth heals. Before addressing a difficult situation, if there's any self righteousness or the tiniest desire to get even, we should keep silent. Stand still and see the deliverance of the Lord…Honesty…When it comes to touchy subjects must be accompanied by pure, loving motives.” The Bible says, "Speak the truth in love… While growing…more like Christ ' if your words aren't bathed in love, they’ll hurt rather than heal…

“Be a Phinehas“

Good morning sisters!

Let's be the one's to break generational curses!! Let's rise up and take our stand against whatever negative cycle has plagued our family 🙏🏾 By: Larean Gordon

Today's Scripture:

(Psalm 106:30, NLT)

But Phinehas had the courage to intervene, and the plague was stopped.

Today's Word:

In Numbers 25, Midianite women had lured the Israelites into idol worship, partying, and committing all kinds of immorality. God was so displeased that a plague broke out and thousands of Israelites died. It looked as though the plague would continue. Then a man named Phinehas rose up and put to death an Israelite man and Midianite woman who publicly defied Moses’ warning. One person took a stand and said, “I’m going to honor God and do the right thing,” and the plague ended.

Phinehas’s action

was extreme, but it saved others. Take it symbolically. You can stop the plague in your family, but you have to kill the negative cycle of anger, unforgiveness, compromise, or addiction. As long as you allow these things to live, they will kill your dreams, kill your freedom, kill your purpose, and get passed down to your children. Have the courage to step up.

Our attitude should be: “This may have been passed down, but it’s not going to get past me. I will win the battle. This is where it ends.”

Prayer for Today:

“Father, thank You for the call to rise up and take my stand against whatever negative cycle has plagued me and my family. Thank You that I am not limited by my past,

by dysfunction that’s been passed down.

I believe that You are going to help me take my family to the next level. In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.”🙏🏾”.
